Donna Case

Managing Attorney

Managing Attorney Donna Case is an experienced trial attorney who will advocate fervently on behalf of her clients but also understands a non-adversarial approach may best suit her clients’ needs. Donna believes the key to her practice and her clients’ successes are strategic thinking, compassion, creativity, and a willingness to understand each client’s unique needs. By employing these characteristics in her practice, Donna has gained the respect of her clients, colleagues, and members of the judiciary.

Donna previously served as Ada County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney handling child protection cases, where she discovered her true passion for helping children and families in her community. As a result, her current practice focuses heavily on bringing families together through adoption and guardianships and helping families plan for the future through estate planning. She also provides legal representation and mediation services for clients seeking a more amicable solution to family disputes including divorce, child custody, child support, and modifications.

Donna still exercises her legal passion outside of her own private practice. She is a volunteer attorney for the 4th Judicial CASA Program representing guardian ad litems in child protection cases and is a member of the CASA program committee. She also previously served on the Idaho State Bar’s Child Protection Committee Governing Council and was a member of the National Association of Counsel for Children. She is now a member of the child protection, probate and taxation, and family law sections of the Idaho State Bar.

Personal Background

Donna is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, where she obtained her BBA in finance. After spending a few years in Honolulu, she moved to Boise 15 years ago for a change of pace. As a family-centric person, she found Boise a great place to raise her children and has been here ever since with her two now-teenagers. Donna enjoys spending time with friends and family and discovering all Boise (and Idaho) has to offer. Outside of helping clients, her true passion is travel, so when not working, she likes to explore. She has spent many hours on the ocean sailing and fishing, and plays the occasional game of golf or tennis.
